"The exhibition insides/insights questions the experience of space, and the memory of place, the emotional impact of which transforms our everyday environment into a complex mental universe. Broken down and recomposed by the subjective gaze, space fragments into multiple strata in which the imaginary disrupts physical presence and reveals unexpected dimensions. Each of the featured artists questions this constant back-and-forth between the material characteristics of an architectural place and its psychological resonance. The works presented here thus reveal an allegorical dimension of space by becoming infused with an emotion, a memory, a moment of history. For while we inhabit space, it is also true that space “inhabits us” by becoming the “set” of our inner life."
