A diploma work.
frgm: "In a sense I simply focus on home. From the very moment I realized how many aesthetic choices are determined by the place (house/ its surroundings) one inhabits from birth. From the moment I noticed that I subconsciously composed my works using as their base the sections of my bedroom window, through which I have watched the world for 25 years after waking up and before falling asleep. To me it is an archetypal frame always filled in with milky hues. This is the colour of my memory of home. Boiler House with Living Facilities  - such is the full name of my home, a horticulture farm built in 1974-76.  In 1974 a steel skeleton of a greenhouse together with a boiler house and a chimney were erected. Boilers were installed and in autumn living facilities were already under construction. Due to my dad’s actions the imposed beforehand construction design of the greenhouse and the boiler house with living facilities underwent several illegal alterations. In 1976 as a result of permanent modifications and my parents’ efforts to make the living facilities fit for moving in, the place turned into a real home, a cozy retreat. Used to fishing out small fragments I was brought up on savouring details. As a lot of people in post-communist countries I find them with ease in a seemingly dull whole. Whenever a place is “too nice”, I simply need fresh air and space. Rough and incomplete, “not entirely as it would like to be”, my home has taught me how to draw joy from imperfections. I do not attempt to create a museum. A fragment is the only form I trust (D. Barthelme)."

frgm: "W pewnym sensie po prostu zjamuję się domem. Od momentu, gdy dostrzegłam jak wiele wyborów estetycznych uwarunkowanych jest miejscem [domem/otoczeniem], w którym mieszka się od urodzenia. Gdy zobaczyłam, że podświadomie komponowałam swoje prace na podziale okna, przez które oglądałam świat przez 25 lat, budząc się i zasypiając. To dla mnie kadr-archetyp, który zawsze wypełniony jest mleczną barwą. Taki kolor ma moja pamięć o domu. Kotłownia z Częścią Socjalną to pełna nazwa mojego domu, ogrodnictwa budowanego w latach 1974-76.  W 1974 r. zbudowana została konstrukcja stalowa szklarni, oraz kotłownia z kominem. Zainstalowano też kotły a jesienią powstawała już część socjalna. Pod wpływem działań mojego taty z góry narzucony projekt budowy szklarni i kotłowni z częścią socjalną ulegał samowolom budowlanym. W 76 r. w wyniku starań rodziców by uzdatnić pomieszczenie socjalne do zamieszkania, w wyniku permanentnych remontów, stało się ono jak najbardziej domem, intymnym azylem. Czepiając się cząstek, wychowałam się na smakowaniu detali. Jak wiele osób w krajach postkomunisycznych bez trudu odnajduję je w pozornie nieciekawej całości. Jeśli gdzieś jest “za ładnie”, wręcz potrzebuję powietrza i odstępów. Niedokończony, "nie do końca taki, jakim chciałby być” dom, nauczył mnie radości z niedoskonałości. Nie usiłuję stworzyć skansenu a fragment, to jedyna forma jakiej ufam (D. Barthelme)."
