Szary buk wraz z tłem szarego domu zostają wchłonięte przez noc – cykl obrazów malowanych na sklejkach. Ich tytuły to notatki, frazy – często przyporządkowane kilku pracom jednocześnie, np.:
 · druga już połowa października
 · cóż, jestem dosyć rozczarowany
 · żałuję, ale nie
 · jasne, przecież zawsze to wiedziałem, tylko nie zdawałem sobie z tego sprawy
 · szybko i bez wahania pogrążają się w ciemności
